Decisions and Choices...

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth.
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same.
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood,
and I--I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

How do you determine the value of your choices? What makes some choices more important than others?

How many choices do you make in a day that positively impact your life?

Do you have a process or strategy when you make decisions?

Think of your past decisions or choices. Was it a good decision or a mistake? Have you declined to make a great choice to choose something better?

A great thinker and man of wisdom once said; "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over while expecting different results. "

Jesus says to choose the narrow gate. What choices are you having to make? Can you figure this out by yourself?

Dear Father in Heaven, Lord God please help me get the truth and balance back in my life. Please send Your Holy Spirit to do a deep and inner work in my soul. Please give me the courage to choose the right path. Please stay close to me as I take these healing steps down the less traveled path. Increase my confidence in You. Increase my faith. I give you my life, mind, soul, and spirit. Through Jesus Christ, my Healer, Amen.
